| Telluride has its own regional
airport. Located on Deep Creek Mesa, the Telluride Regional Airport
is North America's highest commercial airport at an elevation on 9,078
feet above sea level. It is five miles west of the Towns of Telluride
and Mountain Village. There are also airports in Montrose and
